Q: Do you accept pets?
A: Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. Please contact the Catalina Chamber of Commerce at 310.510.1520 for a complete list of hotels that accept pets.
Q: How do I get to The Edgewater?
A: We are a quick 10 minute walk from the Avalon Boat Terminal. See our map on the Map & Directions page.
Q: How do I find The Edgewater?
A: We are located above the Catalina Souvenir Shop and High Tide Traders. The Edgewater is just past the Green Pleasure Pier.
Q: What is there to do on the island?
A: Catalina offers a wide variety of tours, activities and dining. See our recommendations by clicking on our Catalina page. Also, we recommend you visit CatalinaChamber.com to learn more about special events and recommended activities.
Q: Celebrating a special birthday or wedding anniversary?
A: Please let us know and we will do our best to make your stay extra special! List the occasion under guests reservation notes when you make your reservation online. Please contact us if you are interested in adding on special amenities such as flowers, bubbly or desserts to your room.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation which is non refundable 7 days prior to the date of arrival. Your first night's stay will be charged to your credit card if you cancel less than 14 days before your arrival.
Q: How old do you need to be to rent a hotel room?
A: You can be any age to stay at our property but must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older with valid identification. Minor children are not able to rent or occupy a hotel room unaccompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q: When are reservations charged on my credit card?
A: Reservations are authorized up to one month before your stay and may appear as a "hold" or "pending" on your credit card statement. Funds will be charged upon check-in. Any additional charges or damage will be added to your card upon check-out.
Q: When is Check-in/Check-out?
A: Check-in time is at 2:00PM and check-out is at 11:00AM. It is common for guests to be able to check-in before 2:00PM, depending upon room availability. Guests may request a later check-out upon arrival and this is also based on availability.
Q: Can you store our luggage?
A: Yes, baggage storage is available for your bags before you check-in and after you check-out. Please fill out our contact form for special inquires/requests. Restrictions may apply. Note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Q: I am not able to climb stairs, can I stay at The Edgewater?
A: Unfortunately we do not have an elevator and are located on the second floor of a beach front property. While we would love to have you, we have 28 steps that lead up to the hotel which would not make your stay very enjoyable. We recommend you reach out to the Chamber of Commerce to find one level hotels or properties with elevators. They can be reached at 310.510.1520.
